Insulation For Life believes in a systems approach to construction, meaning that building components are interrelated and affect one another. Part of the problem we have seen in recent years with increased amounts of moisture damage and mold growth in our homes is due to a lack of understanding about how the various components that make up a house are interrelated. In the last 20-30 years we have seen increased tightness of buildings , improvements in the efficiency of windows, increased use of thermal insulation, and an increase in the use of forced air heating and cooling systems. These individual advances have evolved over time and were eventually incorporated into the construction of our homes.

Icynene, in conjunction with various building science experts, has spent a great deal of time investigating the interrelationship of building components and has come up with a series of climate specific recommendations that will truly give you a Healthier, Quieter, More Energy Efficient home. Insulation For Life has been actively encouraging the use of these recommendations in and around the Dallas area since our inception, and has a great deal of success and experience with high performance homes.
