Pollution VentilationGoals
How It's Done:All point source pollution areas should have vent fans that are ducted to the outside. Bathrooms, kitchen, and laundry areas should be equipped with exhaust fans that that vent outside, not to the attic! These fans should be used any time you are taking a shower, running the dryer, or cooking. All of these activities can add a significant amount of moisture to the air. Exhaust fans take care of that moisture at the source, and get it outside.
